Call for Board members

The Evolucio Board is looking for new Board members!

Evolucio aims to connect LUC’s graduates with each other and the college. On the 22nd of June 2014, Evolucio will celebrate its first Dies Natalis and enter into its second year of existence. We are looking forward to another year filled with alumni activities, creating and maintaining new traditions, and most importantly LUC spirit!

We are looking for enthusiastic LUC alumni who would like to join our team, and who want to contribute to the important relationship between LUC and its alumni. As a Board member you will be involved in the organisation of various events, such as alumni mixers or workshops. Within the Board we will also distribute administrative tasks, and the responsibilities for social media and the website. We are still developing and growing, so we are looking for alumni who would like to contribute to the development of the LUC alumni community, to build on the foundations that were laid over the past year, but also to keep thinking ahead, and to expand this important aspect of life after LUC. An Evolucio Board position would take up to 3-5 hours a week, although this of course depends on the time of year, and on the workload of the Board.

Will you be graduating this year, or did you graduate last June/February and do you want to help maintain our special LUC spirit and community? Then apply for a position in the Evolucio Board and help maintain and create new traditions for our LUC alumni community!

Please send an e-mail to info@evolucio.nl, with a short statement of motivation (max 200 words) and your CV before 20th May.  We will then select applications for a short interview. Because we will be meeting regularly, it is preferred if you will be studying/working in the Netherlands next year, although we will have some positions for Board members abroad. Please be reminded that these Board positions can only be taken up by LUC alumni who have already graduated or students who will graduate on the 28th of June 2014.

For more information about Evolucio, make sure to check out our website and our Facebook page. We would of course also be happy to answer any questions you may have.
