Join the Evolucio Board!

Evolucio is recruiting it’s next board, with three of our members passing the torch. Are you interested in representing us to the alumni through communications, bringing alumni together with events, or helping alumni find each other abroad in the hubs position? We ask applicants to tell us briefly who they are and when they graduated, and to tell us which position(s) they’re interested in why. No need for long essays, we just want to hear what makes want to join us. The applications are open until Nov. 30th, after which we will call with all applicants to decide on the new board members. Hubs:

Would you like to expand the LUC alumni community to extend its reach beyond  The Hague? Do you enjoy coordinating projects, events and ideas with multiple people from different places? Did you attend Inspire the Students or the Pub Quiz and do you have ideas to make it better? Evolucio is looking for a new International Hubs Manager to coordinate and expand LUC’s alumni hubs in Europe and beyond. This role focuses on keeping in touch with representatives of all the different alumni “hotspots”, and helping them organize communication and, if possible, events. Expect about 6 to 8 hours of work a month.

Events:

Would you like to organize the next reunion? Are you a great networker, the life of the party, or both in one?  Do you enjoying bringing people together and are you a Zoom master? Evolucio is looking for a new Events Manager to be in charge of the events we host each year. This role focuses on two big events (Spring Reunions and Inspire the Students) you will oversee organizing together with LUC, as well as several smaller events you have full control of. Expect about 6 to 8 hours of work a month, with a little more around April and October.

Communications:

Would you like to conduct and writing Evolucio’s Alumni Spotlight interviews with former students? Are you a great communicator, interested in web developing or social media? Do you like story telling? Evolucio is looking for a new Communications Manager to interview and report on alumni stories and affairs. This role focuses on contacting alumni and writing our Alumni Spotlights, as well as keeping the website up to date and helping the other roles promote their news and events. Expect about 4 to 6 hours of work a month.
